George Soros – A Humanitarian for the Ages

George Soros is a man amongst men. He has been known to give to many charities throughout his life. As a matter of fact, he has given more money to charity than many politicians and businessmen of his caliber. He has been exceptionally busy during his lifetime. The money he has given to causes like Black Lives Matter, hungry Children in third world countries, women’s rights, and education is unrivaled. This has been the main organization that George Soros has donated to during his lifetime. His organization is now the second largest charitable organization behind the Gates Foundation.

The power that George Soros has given to the activists of the world is commendable and unrivaled by any other charitable organization in modern history. He promotes egalitarian values, humanitarian efforts, and enlightened progressivism.

The global work that George Soros has done to unify the Jewish community is regarded as some of the best work against anti-Semitism in the world. He promotes the tenets of capitalism and toleration of diversity. He has given massive amounts to pro-democracy causes to generate a sense of nationalism and human rights conservation. The work he has done in South Africa is well known to have made education and health care accessible to thousands of South Africans.

In 1979 he funded major scholarships for South Africans that changed the face of the country. In 1984 he assisted the grassroots libertarian movements in Hungary by establishing a foundation to assist with the fight against Communism. His most notable contribution was donating copy machines so that Hungarians could print anti-Communist literature and spread their message of freedom.

Once Communism fell, George Soros generously donated money to fund institutions that promoted Democracy across Eastern Europe. His work to preserve human rights has been a lifelong mission and he seeks to uplift marginalized communities and underrepresented groups. Wherever there are vulnerable people, George Soros and the Open Society Foundation will be there to defend their rights. He is a legendary philanthropist and his legacy will be cherished.
