Vintners’ Hall Welcomes London’s Livery Companies in Style

The Vintners’ Company is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London. It is also one of the oldest, having received its charter in 1363. This year, the company celebrates its 653rd anniversary. The UK Vintner company has a membership of over 500 Freemen and Liverymen and is involved in the import, regulation, and sale of wine. The company is also involved in social and educational interests, as well as charity.

If was attended by more than 120 leading members on September 26th, 2016, Vintners’ Hall showcased its grandeur, service, and creativity in catering. The Hall is home to The Worshipful Company of Vintners’. Guests were served with a range of high-end meals by Seacy’s, the company’s catering, and event service provider. The event was attended by many of the Wardens and Clerks of the Livery Companies.

Kim Lyons, who is Assistant Clerk of The Worshipful Company of Distillers, said that they had chosen Vintners’ Hall to host all of the company’s events this year because of the flexibility of the venue and the high quality wine from the UK offered there. Lyons reiterated the company’s commitment to creating a menu that matches its members’ needs. He reported that the company would have an event involving 200 high-end spirits and tastings by some of London’s most influential people.

The event received glowing praise from some of the company’s leaders. According to Patricia Paixao, Sales and Marketing Manager for Searcys at Vintners’ Hall, this was the company’s most successful showcase to date. Paixao said that as a result of the event, numerous inquiries and positive feedback were made. She said the venue would host future events for the company. Another leader, Julie Fox, who is Clerk to the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants termed Vintners’ Hall the perfect place to hold events because of its ability to bring a sense of grandeur to every gathering. Fox praised Hall’s consistency in delivering excellence that exceeds the expectations of those who attend their events. She also praised Seacy’s creativity in catering and curating the UK-based wine selection, noting their ability to make a special event special.
