After a slow start to the season, the old Stephen Curry we know is alive and well again. The entire league is looking forward to the return of the Golden State Warriors star, much to the delight of those who have invested in the Little Faced Assassin. With that in mind, it’s time to talk about the value of the Stephen Curry card!
Curry, who missed most of last season, is finally showing why he’s been MVP for two seasons in a row. In his 29 games for the Golden State Warriors, the 12-year veteran averaged 30 points, 5.3 rebounds, six assists and one steal per night. He also shoots 42% from the middle and a Bishop 93% from the free throw line.
Of course, there’s no better evidence of Curry’s impressive comeback than his 62-point performance against the Portland Trailblazers last month. Curry exploded, hitting eight of his 16 attempts at the other end of the arc and notching a +20 plus/minus in the contest.

Stephen Curry currently leads the Warriors to a record of 16-13, which places them seventh in the Western Conference. Not too long ago, Golden State was fired by many after Klay Thompson was injured late in the season.
Now that the Warriors have made a huge advance, it’s time to look at the team’s impact on Stephen Curry’s stock of trading cards.
Cost of Stephen Curry Trading Card for reopening?
We take a look at one of the most definitive Curry cards on the market right now – his PSA 10 Topps beginner card.
This card peaked on eBay at the beginning of the season, when it was auctioned off for the insane amount of $27,255. The value then fell on the last day of 2020 when another PSA 10 sold at auction for $5,325, quite a difference from the previous auction a few days earlier.
The lowest level of this card movement was reached at auction in the last week of January, at just $1,999. All in all, it’s a good deal, especially considering the way Curry is playing right now.

Since then, Curry’s rookie cards have steadily risen with the highest scores. From $9,600 at the end of last month, this card has doubled.
Evidence of this upward trend was seen recently when Curry rookie cards fetched $18,408 and $18,499 in two eBay auctions for 10 Topps PSAs. This amount should at least stay at this level, thanks to Curry’s excellent performance so far. That number could even increase if the Warriors reach the playoffs in a few months.
Unfortunately, the window to buy the Stephen Curry Beginner Card at a low price has closed. He can only be eliminated if the All-Star is injured and misses many games, if Golden State misses the postseason or if he is eliminated at the beginning of the playoffs.
The good news is that Curry is definitely a future Hall of Famer. Whether the Warriors go big this season or not, investing in Curry’s stock carries minimal risk, especially given his impressive MVP performance this season. It’s best to watch falling prices to get the most out of your curation investment.
