The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been hit by a major controversy, with 10 players from England withdrawing due to the Cricket World Cup.
The ipl transfer 2021 is the transfer window in the Indian Premier League. It has seen 10 players withdraw from their respective teams, but England trio Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali are still taking part.

Despite the withdrawals of Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, and Chris Woakes from the Indian Premier League, ten England players are still slated to compete in the rescheduled competition.
The 2021 IPL will begin on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates, after being postponed in May due to an increase in coronavirus infections in India.
Bairstow, Malan, and Woakes were all included in England’s team for the postponed fifth Test against India at Old Trafford on Friday.
The trio has been selected in England’s team for the T20 World Cup, which will take place in the UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14.
Bairstow, a seasoned IPL player, was set to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad, while Malan, the world’s top-ranked T20 batsman, was making his IPL debut after signing with Punjab Kings.
Woakes was scheduled to play for the Delhi Capitals, who are still preparing to welcome England white-ball star Sam Billings to their training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
Eoin Morgan, the England one-day skipper, will play for Kolkata Knight Riders, while Moeen Ali and Sam Curran will return to Chennai Super Kings.

Jason Roy and Adil Rashid will open for Sunrisers Hyderabad, while Tom Curran and Liam Livingstone will play for Rajasthan Royals.
The two English players participating are Chris Jordan (Punjab Kings) and George Garton (Royal Challengers Bangalore), with Delhi presently leading the IPL standings and Sunrisers at the bottom.
Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Jofra Archer have already pulled out of the Indian Premier League, with Buttler having just given birth to his second child, Stokes taking an extended sabbatical from cricket, and Archer out with an elbow injury.
The latest English withdrawals follow the cancellation of the fifth and final Test between England and India owing to Covid-19 concerns.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan said the postponement was “all about the money” since the IPL resumed following week, but England executive Tom Harrison disputed this.

‘This is not a problem that has arisen as a result of the IPL being postponed,’ he said. ‘I don’t believe that for a second.’
‘No, that isn’t the case. This Indian cricket squad is as enthusiastic about Test cricket as our country’s supporters are, as is our cricket team.
‘India just felt that they had reached a point where they couldn’t go out on the field anymore.’ That is very understandable.
‘As administrators, we need to make very clear that mental health must be a top concern for us when considering tour lengths and the circumstances under which individuals are required to perform.’
On September 19, the Indian Premier League resumes with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
