12:06 GMT: Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte is a target for Spanish champions Real Madrid, reports the Daily Star.
Laporte, 26, has been one of the cornerstones of Pep Guardiola’s success at City since joining the club from Ateltic Bilbao in January 2018.
However, this season the Frenchman has been given more chances in the first team since the arrival of Ruben Diaz and the resurgent form of John Stones.
According to the Star, Madrid are keeping an eye on Laporte’s situation with the intention of signing him this summer. However, his contract at Etihad runs until 2025, meaning a higher transfer fee may be required to make the change.
11.15 GMT : FC Bayern Munich have announced that defender Diote Upamekano from RB Leipzig will sign a five-year contract this summer.
The 22-year-old was also linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, but will stay in Germany to join 1. July to the reigning Bundesliga champions.
Upamecano is said to have an exit clause of €42.5 million, which FC Bayern have activated in principle.

10:53 GMT: Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are among the teams interested in Chelta Vigo midfielder Renato Tapia, according to Diario AS.
Tapia came to Celta last summer on a free transfer from Feyenoord and that proved to be a good decision. He has made a big impression in La Liga and has been part of Celta’s starting eleven in 22 league games this season, including the recent 2-2 draw at Atletico.
The 25-year-old Peruvian is an international and played for both of his country’s national teams at the 2018 World Cup.
AS reports that if the club were to pay Tapia €30 million for his transfer fee, it would be the most expensive sale in the Galician club’s history.
10.00 GMT : Manchester United have beaten Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich to sign a first professional contract with promising youngster Shola Shoretire, sources told ESPN’s Rob Dawson.

The sport reasoned that Messi had sent an autographed jersey to Marcelo Claure, one of the owners of Inter Miami. Klaur responded with a thank you on Instagram, adding: I’m sure our paths will cross.
Of course, it could be a matter of Sport adding two and two together and getting to five, but Messi has already revealed in another interview that the MLS is an attractive proposition for the future.
Messi’s contract at Barca expires on the 30th. In June, Inter Miami may be hoping to change direction and head to the United States rather than travel to PSG or Manchester City via Europe, or even stay in Catalonia.
United battle of Barca, Madrid for customer
Manchester United are keen to sign Sevilla defender Harry Maguire and Jules Kunde next season, but face stiff competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid, according to The Sun.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not convinced of the long-term potential of Victor Lindelof or Erik Bailey and is looking for a top-class centre forward.
The 22-year-old is a key target for the Reds, especially since Solskjaer failed to sign Dayot Upamecano, who moves to Bayern Munich this summer.
Sevilla have valued Kunde at around £60million after an exceptional season in the Liga following his move to Bordeaux in 2019. During that time he played 63 games and won the European League last year.
Not surprisingly, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested in Kunde, who is becoming one of the most sought-after players in Europe.
Pochettino sets up for his friend Lloris
Mauricio Pochettino is in permanent contact with the Hugo Lloris and is preparing a big summer move for the Frenchman, reports the Football Insider.
Pochettino, the Paris Saint-Germain boss, has been in constant contact with his former manager since leaving Tottenham Hotspur. With Lloris approaching the final year of his contract, Pochettino is hoping to lure him to the French capital.
The Argentine boss wants to give the 34-year-old goalkeeper the lead role at Prince Park. The two men have a close relationship, with Pochettino hoping Tottenham Hotspur’s poor form under Jose Mourinho can help him bring in the Spurs captain.
Lloris has been in poor form over the past seven days, first in the FA Cup against Everton and again this weekend against Manchester City, and he may be looking to make a fresh start under his former mentor.
– Fabrizio Romano reports that Tottenham Hotspur have been unimpressed with Gareth Bale since his departure from Real Madrid and that Bale’s parent club want to sell the Welshman on his return from London, expected at the end of the season. The bullet and the Isco both point to the exit door, Romano said. Isco has been constantly out of the game this season and was recently criticised for taking his time coming on as a substitute. Madrid are hoping to reduce their wage bill this summer and the departure of Bale and Isco will help them do so.
– Chelsea were one of the many clubs interested in Dayot Upamecano, but now they are turning to his teammate Ibrahima Konate, as reported by The Sun. The 21-year-old defender has 75 Bundesliga appearances and 11 French U-21 appearances behind his name. Chelsea are not the only ones to admire him, although Manchester United are considering him as an option along with other clubs this summer.
