The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a new report that recommends a different type of face mask to follow if you have been diagnosed with a certain type of dangerous heart arrhythmia. “These heart arrhythmias can cause sudden cardiac arrest and death when you are having a heart attack or a cardiac-related event,” said CDC Deputy Director Anne Schuchat, M.D. “Following these guidelines will help you avoid missing a critical warning sign and possibly prevent a potentially fatal event.”
