How many seasons of Mandalorian will we have? For the time being, she’s in limbo. Star Pedro Pascal doesn’t know that, or at least he’s not sharing that information right now. No matter how long Star Wars takes, according to Pascal, it’s a question of quality, not quantity.

Pedro Pascal is currently promoting his new film Wonder Woman 1984, which can be seen in theatres and at HBO Max. In a recent interview he was asked how many fans can still expect after season 2 of the Mandalorian Empire. For the time being there is no definitive answer, but for Pascal: As long as they can keep the quality at a certain level, they can keep the train on the track. Here’s what he said.

POWERFUL : Mandalore director Robert Rodriguez used Star Wars to prepare the return of Boba Fett
, I have no idea. Because I believe quality will always outweigh quantity. So as long as he stays at this incredible level, it’s more of a problem than anything else.

One of the best aspects of Mandalorean, from a business point of view, is that it is appreciated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While the Star Wars sequel trilogy, especially The Last Jedi and Skywalker’s Ascension, sow discord, Mandalorians seem to have brought the fans together under one roof. There aren’t many people out there trying to kill the show. Maintaining this franchise could be an asset for the coming years. We are well aware that season 3 is already underway, and we may have been talking about season 4. But apart from that, nothing’s certain.

What is certain is that Lucasfilm and Disney are already responding to the success of the series in other ways. Star Wars takes place at Disney+ with a stream of new series in preparation. Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Icolita, Visions and The Book of Boba Fett, and the animated series Bad Batch are on their way. Yes, films like Rogue Squadron also exist, but Mandalorian has cemented television as the future of the franchise, at least for now.

As for when we will see Mandalorian Season 3, this time we will have to wait a bit longer. After this epic Season 2 final, it was announced that The Book of Boba Fett will appear on Disney+ in December 2021. The series is now in production, with Mando back in the saddle after filming a solo Boba Fett series. The question whether little Yoda will come back is topical, considering what happened in the finals. We’ll let you know as soon as we have more details.
