According to reports, Casey wants to take the lead in finding the killer of his two-year-old daughter, Kaylee Anthony. Casey made headlines when she was arrested in July 2008 after her mother, Cindy Anthony, called 911 to report her granddaughter missing. Cindy and her husband George Anthony hadn’t seen Kaylee in over a month and Casey finally told her mother that the girl had been kidnapped. Police arrested Casey and eventually charged her with first-degree murder, based on the theory that Casey strangled his daughter by sticking duct tape over her mouth and nose.
After years of one of America’s most sensational crimes, Casey Anthony was arrested on the 5th. July 2011 acquitted. She was born on the 15th. In July 2011 he was released from prison, but since then he has mainly been living in hiding. According to Florida archives, Casey filed papers to start his own private detective business.
Many still believe Casey Anthony is guilty, despite the fact that he was acquitted.
The source is currently speaking to the National Inquirer about their upcoming release on January 25, 2021, detailing the reason for Casey’s request. According to the report, Casey worked for Patrick McKenna, who was a key figure on her legal defense team and who supervised her and investigated her after her dismissal. The source stated the following.
Casey has been working with McKenna for years and has been seen with him on reconnaissance missions, so she fits right in. In her own case, the first thing she wants to focus on is the mystery surrounding her daughter’s tragic end. Even if she can’t definitively prove who killed Caylee and why, I’m sure she’s ready to provide enough evidence to exonerate herself once and for all in the court of public opinion.
During Casey Anthony’s trial, his attorney Jose Baez stated that Caylee Anthony drowned in the family pool and that Casey was fully aware of the event. Jose Baez told jurors and the audience that George Anthony yelled at Casey in a fit of rage and threw Caylee Anthony’s body away.
The National Enquirer’s report that Casey Anthony will investigate the identity of the person who kidnapped and killed Caylee Anthony contradicts the theory presented to the court by Jose Baez, who obtained his acquittal.
