Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes appears to have decided to enlist the help of Chad Henne to send the home team to the AFC championship game against the Buffalo Bills. Thanks to a sensational first shot from Henne on wide receiver Tyreek Hill, the Chiefs caught up with Cleveland in the AFC North Division Round.

Considering most thought he would be in much worse shape after being brutally beaten by the Browns’ Mack Wilson in the third quarter, it’s nice to see MVPat go to Chiefs Kingdom and show his support for the man who followed in his footsteps.

Wilson offered positive numbers for Mahome

Cleveland defenseman Mac Wilson was quick to support the No. 15 after the game, tweeting in Mahomes Go big his upcoming weekend against the Bills and, of course, saying a few prayers for his recovery. Like a true sportsman, Mahomes also gave an equally entertaining answer.

Mahome’s mother called Wilson on the dangerous play, but it’s hoped her son’s reaction will squash another feud that could start next week for the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Chiefsset a new NFL record with their third participation in the AFCChampionship

Led by Josh Allen, the Bills defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-3. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a concussion in the third quarter, as did Mahomes.

Despite the loss, Bills fans did their best to pay tribute to one of Jackson’s favorite associations. reported Sunday that the Bills audience donated thousands of dollars to one of the league’s most popular charities, MVP. According to their website, the Louisville-based organization aims to provide meals to teens who can’t afford them on the weekends.

While both teams are essentially each other’s competitors, it’s refreshing to see fans honor a fellow athlete and his accomplishments off the field.
