Doctor Who’s Jodie Whittaker was killed during the filming of season 13. Squadron spotted in Liverpool – and seems in the mood to play.
The Time Lord looked in good spirits as she stood smiling in front of the TARDIS during the filming of next season’s night scene at the famous Royal Albert Dock.
In one photo, Jodie, dressed in her character’s signature coat, holds a hot water bottle to her chest as she laughs and smiles for the cameras.
In another shot, she keeps warm in a large waterproof jacket and wears a face mask while catching her breath between shots.
Passersby were overjoyed when they stumbled upon the set and flooded Twitter with photos and videos of Jodie.
I saw that #DoctorWho is filming in Liverpool tonight, wrote one. Jodi Whittaker took pictures from afar and, as she left, returned with a mask to remind everyone to stay safe and keep their distance. She’s the boss and literally a superhero. We stopped.

One more addition: Doctor Who was filmed all day today in Liverpool, including the TARDIS, John Bishop and possibly Catherine Tate, although we don’t know if she’s filming for Doctor Who or something else. Stay tuned for updates.
Jodie was previously seen smiling in the freezing cold as she shot new scenes in pouring rain in South Wales in January.

It has been announced that filming for Doctor Who season 13 will begin in November 2020. It was also announced that the new chapter will be shorter than usual, due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus.
Earlier this year it was announced that John Bishop had joined the cast of Doctor Who and would play a character called Dan who becomes involved in the Doctor’s adventures.
Travelling through space and time with the Doctor and Yaz, he encounters evil alien races beyond his wildest nightmares, he said.
Jodie could reportedly be leaving the series 13 episode of Doctor Who after three years at the helm.

Asked about the allegations, he said: We are not commenting on speculation about Jodi’s future on the show.
Fans have been busily speculating about who might reprise his role, with I May Destroy You star Michaela Coel as the favorite, followed by Noel Clarke, who previously played Mickey Smith in the franchise.
Doctor Who will return later this year.
