Paramount has just released The Tomorrow War new photos and we have them for you to see. In the photo above, we see Christopher Pratt’s character (Lt. Col. Bill Cage) using a time-travel device to go back to the year of the first “Tomorrow War” conflict. In the first “Tomorrow War” conflict, the United States loses the war against a race of aliens called “The Mimics”. The United States was able to develop time-travel technology and send Cage back in time to be successful. When Cage goes back in time he meets Rita Vrataski (Blair), who is a second lieutenant who can kill an alien in three seconds.
Several new images from Amazon’s Tomorrow War series show Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt and the rest of the cast preparing for war. A war that will probably take place tomorrow. Set in the not-so-distant future, the plot of Tomorrow War focuses on humanity’s war against an alien invasion, which it hopes to win thanks to scientists’ new ability to summon soldiers from the past to wage war.

In Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers from the year 2051 arrive to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future, humanity is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians to be transported from the present to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and her estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate attempt to rewrite the planet’s fate.

In a few shots, Pratt looks typically heroic: He waves a gun around, steps out of a helicopter and stares longingly into the distance, pondering the folly of man and the possibility that our species will triumph over alien invaders. Yvonne Strahovski and Sam Richardson also appear in the photos as Pratt’s colleagues. These are just a few of the cast members, which also include J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Matthews, Ryan Kira Armstrong and Keith Powers.
Director Chris McKay praised the cast and crew for their hard work during such a difficult time and talked about the hodgepodge of genres that Tomorrow War will be. I am very proud of this incredible team who worked under difficult circumstances to create a unique and original sci-fi action film which is becoming increasingly rare, McKay said. Watching this team of actors and professionals seamlessly combine action, horror, comedy and drama is a dream come true for me….. and I hope audiences will be thrilled this summer.

Tomorrow War has a nice high concept and contains many sci-fi tropes that are ripe for this type of action movie. Originally, the film was to be distributed by Paramount Pictures, but the distribution rights were recently acquired by Amazon Studios (for a whopping $200 million) due to the current world situation.
